Also wir sind spontan beim spazieren gehen dort auf ein Getränk und Stück Kuchen vorbei. Betreiber waren zu uns sehr freundlich. Ein Stern ziehen wir ab da es preislich schon Recht hoch ist. Aber ansonsten alles gut

Eine wunderschön gelegene Pension am Waldrand mit einem herrlichen Panoramablick. Darüber hinaus war alles perfekt - von den beiden Gastgebern über das Zimmer bis zum hervorragenden Essen. Besser geht es nicht.

Es war einfach rundum schön. Auch wenn das Haus von außen etwas in die Jahre gekommen wirkt, sind die Zimmer wunderschön eingerichtet und renoviert mit tollen Bädern. Und die Verpflegung ist 1A - soooo leckeres Frühstück und ein Café mit superleckeren selbstgebackenen Kuchen und Torten. Und abends gibt es auch eine kleine, feine Speisekarte. Das Besitzerpaar ist sehr freundlich und zaubern tolle Leckereien in der Küche.

We came to Donstetten to spend the Easter weekend and made the right choice of choosing Pension Waldliessel. Don’t judge this place based on how the house look on the exterior. This traditional looking house is every bit modern inside! The room is well renovated. It is clean, simple and sufficient with basic toiletries provided. There’s complimentary water with chocolates to welcome you when you enter. There is also a professional grade hair dryer which has always been my pet peeve when I am staying at a hotel. They tend to give a small hairdryer that starts burning up after some minutes. Not this one and I love it. The bed mattress is very comfortable and we had a great view to the fields and town. The room is very well insulated and we felt so comfortable that it was difficult to leave and do some exercise. Forest trails are just round the corner. You can take a stroll to town and there’s Netto supermarket 8mins away. Breakfast was the highlight for me, a delicious spread of bread, croissants, home made jam, different types of cold cuts and cheeses, fruits and good coffee. There are also fresh juices and whole grains available. If you are lucky, you might have the honour of being greeted by Pico the house cat .
